Teepakorn was accused by the Ministry of Digital for Economy and Society (MDES) of lese majeste and Computer Crime Act for allegedly having shared and posted on his Facebook account a YouTube video that may have defamed the King. On 23 August 2021, the police raided Teepakorn’s house and tried to seize every computer belonging to family members. Because no order of seizure issued under the Computer-related Crime Act by the court was provided, the authority was refused and Teepekorn’s phone was instead confiscated, again without order of seizure. On 15 February 2022, the prosecutor indicted Teepakorn, who later was granted bail by the court.
