Phakpinya : shared 6 Facebook statuses and journeyed to defend the case in Narathiwat

Phakpinya, a librarian who lives in Bangkok, was accused by Phasit Janhuathon from a Royalist group at Su-ngai Kolok Police Station at the most southern part of the country. She was accused for sharing political content of Facebook. Phasit initially accused her for 4 posts under Lese Majeste and Computer Crimes Act. Phakpinya has to travel for more than 1,000 kilometers to acknowledge the charges and defend her case. Later, prosecutor filed a case against her at Narathtwat Provincial Court for 6 posts. She also had to travel to defend her case with her own expenses.
