On 18 November 2020, Ratsadon organized a protest at Ratchaprasong Intersection against the use of force by the Thai authorities against protesters at the Parliament on 17 November 2020. The protester also expressed their dissastifaction toward the Parliament’s decision to reject “the people’s draft” of constitution amendments on 17 November 2020.
The protesters initally gathered at Ratchaprasong Intersection before moved to Royal Thai Police Headquater. Saying that they had prepared a “big surprise,” the protesters started firing water cannon and splashing paint at the Royal Thai Police. Chukiat and Siraphob also presented at the protest site and both gave public speech during the protest.
On 18 December 2020, the police summoned Chukiat and Siraphob to acknowledge allegation under lese majeste law for their participations and speeches at the protest on 18 November 2020. Both Chookiet and Siraphob reported themselves to the police but denied all allegations and refused to sign statements acknowledging the allegations. They were released unconditionally by the police.
On 6 May 2021, the prosecutor filed the charges against Chukiat and Siraphob. Siraphob came to report to the prosecutor while Chukiat who was remanded in custody since 23 March 2021 in another lese majeste case was not brought to the court on the date. After the the charge was filed by the prosecutor Siraphob filed bail petition to the court. The court later denied to release him on bail, Siraphob was then transfered to remand at the Bangkok Remand Prison.
On 9 May 2021, Siraphob was brought to the court to give testimony The bail was finally conditionally granted to Siraphob on 9 May 2021, and to Chookiet on 2 June 2021 after 72 days in custody. They were barred from action that could be harmful to the monarchy and from leaving the country without court approval.
