Sombat Thongyoi, a former guard of Red Shirt Protester was allegedly posted 3 messages that deemed to be Lese Majeste offense sometime between October to November 2020. According to statement of allegation, Sombat posted message that was the King's speech addressed to the crowd that greeted him with intention to satire. Another two messages were his comment on the Royal Budget and the act where to king gave signature to the audience that greeted him.
In this case the ordinary citizen name Sarayuth Sangwantong was a person who made allegation against Sombat to the police. Sombat went to acknowledge his allegation with the police on 15 December 2020 where he denied all allegations. After the inquiry, the police release him on the same date. The police later handed Sombat's case file to the prosecutor with prosecution order. The prosecutor set to render case order on 19 May 2021.
