On 24 July 2020, about 500 people gathered at Thung Si Muang in a protest organized by “UD Young Democratism” (UDYD) The protest was peaceful and ended uneventfully.
During the activity, protestor wore face mask throughout the activity. The police did not interupted the activisty but plain colth official take close up photo of many protestors.
Later on, Poramet was summoned to acknowledge accusation under Emergency Decree.
· On 24 July 2020, about 500 people gathered at a pro-democracy rally organized by a student-led group named the “UD Young Democratism” (UDYD) at Thung Si Muang in Udon Thani province. Demonstrators displayed the three-finger salute, and a statement condemning the 2014 coup and the incumbent government was read. Three demands to the government, similar to those proposed by the Free Youth group, were made: dissolve the parliament, stop human rights abuses, and draft a new constitution. The rally was peaceful and ended uneventfully.
· Demonstrators wore masks throughout the rally. The rally was not stopped by the authority, but officials were seen taking close-up pictures of participants. Porames, according to the formal police accusation document, live-streamed via Facebook to encourage the public to participate in the demonstration, which demonstrated an intention to hold the rally according to the Public Demonstration Act. He is later accused of violating the Emergency Decree and the Infectious Diseases Act.
