Facebook page Run Against Dictatorship was created to use as communication channel for the first time on 23 December 2019. Narinnira and Krittin then started to coordinate with the police. Since both of them are member of a political party they had decided to ask their junior to communicate with police on their behalf to prevent authority from connect activity with the party.
Ekkarat, one of accused person volunteered to coordinate with authority on their behalf. On 6 January 2020, Ekkarat along with 4 other friends went to meet with the police to hand document to the police. The police then took photo all of them and made photo copy of their id cards.
On the date, the activity went on without violence incident. Later, in the late January 2020 Narinnira, Krittin and Ekkarat recieved summon to report at the Chaing Rai Police station to acknowledge accusation under public assembly act for not notify the police about their activity.
Apart from the three, there were another two individuals that were summoned for the same accusation including Pattarakrit and Niruth. Narinnira provided information later that Pattarakrit and Niruth did not involved in the organizing of the activity, both only stand in the front row while the organizer read a statement.
All the person accused had reported to the police on 13 February 2020, all of them denied accusation.
