Somlak 4th case : Posted Facebook criticizing a gold mine in Phichit province

Somluck posted a message on a Facebook account “Somlak hutanuwatr (Thai Leak)” which is a caption of an article about the press conference of the plaintiff about an application for mining operation that she shared from someone. The message said 'The evil of wicked capitalist is the lack of conscience of nation, religioun and monarchy'.

Akara Resoources public company sees this message refers to its mining operation, therefore, it submitted a case to the court under defamation, insult and Computer-related Crimes Act. Pichit Provincial Court accepted the case for consideration.
