On March 10, 2021, police apprehended Pornchai in front of his condominium in Nonthaburi province and sent him to Rattanatibet Police Station and Region 1 Border Police Bureau respectively to investigate about the burning the King’s portrait during 6th march protest that he strongly denied an allegation. After that the police from Mae Jo Police Station shew an arrest warrant from the Chiang Mai Provincial Court and detained him to Mae Jo, Chiang Mai province. The charge is related to four Facebook posts about the King Rama X initiated by Jessada Tankaew a member of PDRC. He had been remanded in prison for 44 days after Chiang Mai Provincial Court denied him bail. The Court had set for witness examination on December 6-9, 2022.
