In early October 2017, Lt. Sunisa criticized Gen. Prayuth, head of the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) and Prime Minister, on her Facebook account for welcoming the musician engaged in a fund raising campaign for hospitals but refusing to meet with the citizen who is campaigning against the Thepa Power Plant Project.
The NCPO then assigned Col. Burin Thongprapa, its legal officer, to file an accusation under the Sedition Law and the Computer-related Crime Act against Lt. Sunisa. On 13 December 2017, Lt. Sunisa went to the Technology Crime Suppression Division to acknowledge and deny her accusations.
Later on 20 December 2017, she went to acknowledged the accusation that was filed against her for criticizing Gen. Prayuth on her Facebook in September and October 2017. The later accusations were reported to the police after Lt. Sunisa posted message on her Facebook account criticizing the accusation that had been brought against her earlier
