On May 31, 2014, wearing a blue shirt with white stripes, Nattawut carried a sign of ‘Election Only’ in front of McDonald’s restaurant before being arrested by a plainclothes police officer.

Nattawut had been detained at the office of the Crime Suppression Division until June 6, 2014, being charged with violating the NPCO’s order No.7/B.E.2557 (2014). The military court decided to release him on bail of THB 40,000. The court additionally set conditions for him to comply with while being temporary released. The prohibition includes not participating in political rally, not expressing political opinions or leaving the country.
